Overview

Vietnam Journal of Community Medicine is under the management of Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communication, with the bilingual publication license in both Vietnamese and English since 2013. Articles published in the Journal are qualified for publication achievement scoring system. We offer high-quality articles through a peer-review process. We publish original research works, review articles, commentaries, book introductions, documents, news and events related to all aspects of the main field of research and books on education, practice, training, in the fields of medicine and pharmacy, clinical medicine, biomedicine, preventive medicine and public health.

The Journal of Community Medicine has been accepted as a member of the Crossref organization, which provides official Digital Object Identifiers - DOIs through the International DOI Foundation. This allows connecting articles published in the journal with a global network of 15,072 members across 118 countries around the world. All published articles will be assigned a DOI code to enhance the ease of searching, accessing, connecting, and citing works published in the journal. The journal is also in the list of scientific journals in the health sciences fiels that are scored by the State Council for Professor Titles every year.

Purpose, principle

Journal of Community Medicine is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary academic journal in the fields of Health Sciences, published by the Institute of Public Health - Vietnam Medical Association.

  • Post information about the activities of the Institute of Community Health.
  • Periodically follow the publication deadlines to publish scientific research works in medicine, pharmacy, biomedical technology and other fields in the Health Sciences sector.

Scope

The Community Medicine Journal peer-reviews and publishes various types of articles and scientific research works in the field of health sciences including:

  • Original research;
  • Review papers;
  • Research methods;
  • Design papers;
  • Commentary;
  • Thesis/dissertation summary.
  • Information of Medical and pharmaceutical science and technology.

The Journal serves as a scientific forum for students, graduate students, lecturers, and scientists both domestically and internationally to publish and exchange academic research in medicine and pharmacy within the health sector.

Publication schedule

  • Vietnamese publication schedule: 01 months per issue, approximately 12 issues per year (not including the number of supplements, scientific conferences and seminars).
