15. THE SITUATION OF USE OF OUTCOME DRUGS TO TREAT INFORMATION, STOMACH – DUODENAL ULCER AT NAM DINH PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL

Abstract
Objectives: To describe the characteristics of using outpatient drugs for treating gastritis and
duodenal ulcers at Nam Dinh General Hospital from January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021.
Subjects and methods: A retrospective descriptive study on 1800 outpatient prescriptions at the
outpatient department using gastric drugs.
Results: The mean age of the patients was 67.0±11.8. Total prescriptions for diagnosing stomach
diseases in medications with stomach medicine 70.1%; 29.9% for backup indication. Prescription
rate with PPI 89.1%, with antacid 26.8%. The average duration of treatment with PPI was 13.1±8.1
days, with Antacid 11.8±4.4 days. Several times per day: PPI 1.04±0.2 times, antacid 2.3±0.7 times.
The overall rate of the medical examination and treatment department prescribing instructions on the
correct use of PPIs for patients was 67.8%; misstatement is 27.1% and incomplete guidance is 5.1%.
