Abstract

Burns are the fourth cause of trauma around the world, resulting in high mortality and morbidity, prolonged length of hospital stay, disfigurement, and disability. Respiratory burn is servere and life-threatening problem with hight mortality if not diagnosed early and treated appropriately. There are many causes of respiratory burns, but domestic accidents or fires are still a major cause. Early clinical diagnosis, evaluation of its severity and projection of the development ofrespiratory tract damage through bronchoscopy are very important. In this article, I would like to report a clinical case of inhalational burns diagnosed at National Lung Hospital.
