Abstract

Background: Measuring the patient’s experience benefits the entire healthcare system: for patients,
for healthcare providers, for health leaders, and for key decision-makers.
Objectives: Analyzing some related factors to the experience of inpatients at Department of General
Internal Medicine, Nam Dinh General Hospital, in 2020
Methods: Cross-sectional survey
Results: Researched the experience of 320 inpatients showed that, 81.1% of patients had normal
experienced (from 6-8 points). 16.1% of patients had positive experienced (from 9-10 points). Age,
gender, and economic status are related to the positive experience of inpatients. Experiences at the
time of admission, experience of facilities, of medical examination and treatment activities and
before discharge are all related to hospital grading.
