EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS OF MOTOR REHABILITATION CARE FOR STROKE PATIENTS AFTER THE ACUTE PHASE AT THE MILITARY INSTITUTE OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE IN 2021

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the results of care and rehabilitation of motor function for patients with
cerebral stroke after the acute stage.
Study subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 147 patients with stroke in the
post-acute phase at the Military Institute of Traditional Medicine.
Results: The level of paralysis of the patient according to the Henry scale gradually decreased,
the positive change in the patient’s mobility level according to the Rankin scale and the patient’s
independence in daily life according to the Barthel scale, with p < 0.05.
Conclusion: Rehabilitation care for stroke patients is very necessary, should be performed early
and synchronously in order to help patients regain their original function and integrate into the
community soon.
