Tóm tắt

Tổng quan: Trầm cảm là vấn đề nghiêm trọng trong quản lý và điều trị lao kháng thuốc. Trầm cảm làm tăng nguy cơ thất bại điều trị, kháng thuốc và nguy cơ tử vong. Thang điểm PHQ-9 là thang điểm được sử dụng rộng rãi trong đánh giá mức độ trầm cảm. Nghiên cứu này nhằm đánh giá mức độ trầm cảm và các yếu tố liên quan ở người bệnh lao kháng thuốc tại Việt Nam.

Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu này áp dụng phương pháp định lượng qua bảng câu hỏi và phân tích thống kê mô tả để xác định mức độ trầm cảm và các yếu tố liên quan.

Kết quả: Kết quả cho thấy 34.4% bệnh nhân không bị trầm cảm, trong khi đó có tới 36.8% bệnh nhân mắc trầm cảm nhẹ và 14% mắc trầm cảm trung bình. Mức độ trầm cảm tăng lên đáng kể ở những người từng quên uống thuốc lao (OR = 0,5; p = 0,032) và nhóm kiến thức kém với tỉ lệ trầm cảm cao (70,2%).

Thảo luận: Nghiên cứu nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc sàng lọc và can thiệp trầm cảm ở bệnh nhân lao kháng thuốc, đặc biệt là những người có lịch sử không tuân thủ điều trị. Việc tăng cường hỗ trợ tâm lý và can thiệp kịp thời có thể cải thiện chất lượng cuộc sống và kết quả điều trị lao
