Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu: Xác định tỷ lệ thừa cân, béo phì ở trẻ em 24-72 tháng tại các trường mầm non
thành phố Thái Nguyên năm 2021.
Đối tượng nghiên cứu: Trẻ em 24-72 tháng tại các trường mầm non thành phố Thái Nguyên
năm 2021.
Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Mô tả cắt ngang với 1203 trẻ tại các trường mầm non trên địa
bàn thành phố Thái Nguyên và xác định thừa cân/béo phì (TCBP) theo WHO.
Kết quả: Tỷ lệ thừa cân, béo phì của trẻ mầm non tại thành phố Thái Nguyên là 15,4% trong đó
tỷ lệ thừa cân là 8,1% và béo phì là 7,3%. Tỷ lệ TC/BP ở khu vực nội thành cao hơn vùng ngoại
thành (13,0% so với 2,4% p<0,001); Tỷ lệ TC và BP ở trẻ nam cao hơn trẻ nữ và tỷ lệ TC, BP
gia tăng theo tuổi.
Kết luận: Tỷ lệ thừa cân và béo phì ở trẻ 24-72 tháng tại Thái Nguyên là 15,4%; tỷ lệ TC,
BP có sự khác biệt theo địa dư, giới tính của trẻ và gia tăng theo tuổi.
