Mục tiêu: Đánh giá mối liên quan giữa thể tích thùy đỉnh và thang điểm Koedam trên cộng hưởng từ (MRI) ở bệnh nhân sa sút trí tuệ. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 20 bệnh nhân sa sút trí tuệ được chụp MRI não với chuỗi xung 3D T1-weighted. Thể tích thùy đỉnh được đo bằng phương pháp phân đoạn bán tự động. So sánh giữa các nhóm được thực hiện bằng kiểm định t độc lập; mối tương quan giữa thể tích thùy đỉnh với tuổi, thang điểm Koedam và MMSE được đánh giá bằng hệ số tương quan Spearman (p < 0,05). Kết quả: Thể tích thùy đỉnh bên trái cao hơn nhẹ so với bên phải (88,51 ± 12,26 so với 86,01 ± 11,22 cm³). Thể tích thùy đỉnh có xu hướng cao hơn ở nam giới, với sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa ở bán cầu trái (p < 0,05). Tuổi có tương quan nghịch mức trung bình với thể tích thùy đỉnh trái (r = -0,484; p = 0,030). Đáng chú ý, thang điểm Koedam có tương quan nghịch mạnh với thể tích thùy đỉnh ở cả hai bên (r = -0,619; p = 0,004). Không ghi nhận mối tương quan có ý nghĩa giữa điểm MMSE và thể tích thùy đỉnh. Kết luận: Thể tích thùy đỉnh có mối tương quan nghịch chặt chẽ với thang điểm Koedam, cho thấy sự nhất quán giữa đánh giá định tính và định lượng trên MRI. Kết quả này gợi ý giá trị của việc kết hợp hai phương pháp trong chẩn đoán và đánh giá mức độ sa sút trí tuệ.
