Quản lý bệnh là một cách tiếp cận chăm sóc người bệnh tại cộng đồng dân cư một cách toàn diện, phối hợp lồng ghép tổng thể và liên tục nhằm hạn chế các biến cố có thể ngăn ngừa được bằng cách tối đa hóa sự tuân thủ của người bệnh đối với các hành vi chăm sóc và nâng cao sức khỏe theo quy định. Các chương trình này tạo ra những cải thiện đáng kể về sức khỏe, cũng như tiết kiệm tài chính. Bài viết này bước đầu tiếp cận với khái niệm và các nội dung chính của quản lý bệnh và chương trình quản lý bệnh mạn tính.
