Mở đầu: Giãn tĩnh mạch tinh (GTMT) chiếm 15% dân số nam bình thường và chiếm 35% ở
bệnh nhân vô sinh nam nguyên phát và khoảng 75% đến 81% vô sinh nam thứ phát bị bệnh
này. Phương pháp: Hồi cứu và tiến cứu mô tả 32 trường hợp được chẩn đoán và vi phẫu
thuật cột tĩnh mạch tinh giãn hai bên ngả bẹn bìu tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa Trung ương Cần Thơ
từ tháng 3 năm 2015 đến tháng 7 năm 2019. Kết quả: Triệu chứng: đau bìu 59,4%, vô sinh
31,3%, vô sinh kèm đau bìu 9,4%. Đau bìu trái chiếm chủ yếu 86,4%, đau bìu hai bên chiếm
13,6%. Giãn tĩnh mạch tinh độ 3 chiếm 71,9% và độ 2 chiếm 28,1%. Siêu âm phát hiện có
giãn tĩnh mạch tinh là 75%. 77,3% hết đau bìu hoàn toàn, 22,7% giảm đau một phần. Tỷ lệ
có thai tự nhiên 53,8%. Không có biến chứng trong và sau phẫu thuật. Kết luận: Chẩn đoán
giãn tĩnh mạch tinh chủ yếu dựa vào lâm sàng. Vi phẫu thuật cột tĩnh mạch tinh giãn hai bên
ngả bẹn bìu là phương pháp an toàn, hiệu quả trong điều trị đau bìu và vô sinh.
