Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện trên sinh viên đã tốt nghiệp trường Đại học Y Hà Nội năm 2008-2020. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy kỹ năng “phân tích dữ liệu và sử dụng công cụ phân tích” của đối tượng đạt điểm trung bình thấp nhất với 2,94; trong đó, điểm trung bình sinh viên tốt nghiệp năm 2020 (2,99±0,60) cao hơn so với sinh viên tốt nghiệp năm 2008-2019 (2,90±0,69). Về nhu cầu tăng nội dung khóa học, thống kê chiếm tỷ lệ cao nhất (44,52%). Nhu cầu tăng đào tạo về thực hành ở nhóm tốt nghiệp năm 2008-2019 (38%) cao hơn nhóm tốt nghiệp năm 2020 (17,39%). Về phương pháp đào tạo: 60,93% đối tượng chọn được giảng viên hướng dẫn và hợp tác nhiều hơn; tỷ lệ chọn khuyến khích sinh viên thực hiện và xuất bản bài báo khoa học ở nhóm 2008-2019 (31,32%) thấp hơn nhóm năm 2020 (38,26%). Về hình thức lượng giá, thực hành một đề tài nghiên cứu theo nhóm chiếm tỷ lệ lớn nhất với 76,01%. Các sự khác biệt trên đều có ý nghĩa thống kê với p<0,05. Một số yếu tố như giới tính, năm tốt nghiệp, có sản phẩm khoa học và mức độ tham gia của giảng viên ảnh hưởng đến điểm trung bình các kỹ năng nghiên cứu.
