Chủng vi rút SARS-CoV-2 gây ra đại dịch trên thế giới từ năm 2019 với khả năng lây lan ngày càng tăng với những biến chủng mới. Chúng tôi báo cáo ca sơ sinh 19 ngày tuổi đây là ca bệnh nhỏ tuổi nhất ghi nhận tại Bệnh viện Đa khoa Đức Giang và thành phố Hà Nội vào thời điểm hiện tại. Trẻ là ca nhiễm Covid-19 lây truyền ngang, chẩn đoán dựa vào PCR dịch mũi họng dương tính. Trẻ được phân loại Viêm phổi nặng do Covid-19 với các biểu hiện triệu chứng: Sốt, triệu chứng tiêu hóa, hô hấp, và các biểu hiện marker viêm và D-dimer tăng rất cao. Trẻ đã được điều trị hỗ trợ hô hấp bằng thở oxy, thuốc corticoid, chống đông, kháng sinh và dinh dưỡng chăm sóc. Trẻ dừng điều trị sau 12 ngày và ra viện sau 21 ngày cùng với gia đình.
