Tóm tắt
Viêm não do virus herpes simplex type 1 (HSV-1) là nguyên nhân phổ biến gây viêm não trên toàn thế giới [1]. Triệu chứng lâm sàng thường gặp là khởi phát đột ngột, sốt, đau đầu, co giật, dấu hiệu thần kinh khu trú và suy giảm ý thức. Virus herpes xâm nhập vào hệ thần kinh trung ương, gây hoại tử nhu mô não kèm xuất huyết [2]. Xuất huyết não rất hiếm gặp trong quá trình viêm não herpes simplex. Đồng thời, xuất huyết não làm phức tạp diễn biến bệnh viêm não HSV. Ở đây, chúng tôi báo cáo một trường hợp bệnh nhân nam khỏe mạnh bị HSV-1 ban đầu có biểu hiện xuất huyết não.
