Viêm phổi hít là một bệnh nhiễm trùng phổi do hít phải nước bọt, thức ăn, chất lỏng, chất nôn và thậm chí cả những vật lạ nhỏ. Nó có thể được điều trị bằng thuốc thích hợp. Nếu không được điều trị, các biến chứng có thể nghiêm trọng, thậm chí gây tử vong. Chúng tôi ghi nhận và báo cáo một trường hợp viêm phổi hít do rối loạn nuốt sau biến chứng của bệnh lý Zona thần kinh. Bệnh nhân được điều trị nội khoa tích cực theo phác đồ phù hợp kết hợp với phương pháp nuôi ăn qua mở thông dạ dày ra da. Quá trình điều trị khá khó khăn tuy nhiên sau đó bệnh nhân đã hồi phục một cách ngoạn mục.
