Abstract
Postpartum depression is a form of depression that mainly affects women and a small number of men after their baby is born. According to statistics, the proportion of women with postpartum depression at the Central Obstetric Hospital (PST) currently accounts for about 16.4 in the first 3 months and 25,2% within 12 months after birth. This is a quite common and dangerous disease, patients can suffer from mild, moderate or severe depression, transient or prolonged, leading to negative actions for themselves: feeling sad, hopeless, emptiness or psychological overload; appearing negative thoughts that lead to behaviors that could harm themselves or their children… so it is necessary to have effective timely treatment.
