31. THE SITUATION OF CESAREAN SECTION OF EACH GROUP DIVIDED BY ROBSON CLASSIFICATION AT CHUONG MY HOSPITAL

Abstract

Objectives: Describe the situation of Cesarean section (CS) of each group subdivided by Robson classification.

Research object and method: Include all the records of women which hospitalized and delivered by cesarean during the 2-year period from 01/2020 to 12/2021 were reviewed. Retrospective crossstudy.

Results: Ratio 21,16% caesarean section, in which groups 1, 2, 3 and 5 have the largest size, accounting for the majority of cases in which pregnant women give birth. Contributing the highest cesarean section rate were groups 5, 3, and 1 with 8.74%, 4.9%, and 4.26% cases respectively. Abnormal position group, multiple pregnancies 6, 7, 8, and 9 had a very high CS rate in each group >82%, however, group sizes 6, 7, 8, and 9 contributed to the overall cesarean rate of 1,35%. Groups 4 and 10 have relatively low rates of CS in each group and the size of each group in the population is small, which should contribute to the overall CS rate of less than 1%.

Conclusion: The cesarean section rate at Chuong My District General Hospital is 21.16%. Groups 1, 2, 3 and group 5 are the main contributors to the overall cesarean section rate.
