Objective: This study aims to describe the number of facilities, workforce composition, and spatial distribution of the Odonto-Stomatology network across 45 surveyed commune-level units in Dong Thap province following the 2025 administrative rearrangement. Methods: a descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted across 45 commune-level administrative units selected through purposive sampling. Results: The network recorded 151 Odonto-Stomatology facilities, with the private sector dominating at 80.8%. The total Odonto-Stomatology workforce comprised 429 personnel; the public sector retained a higher proportion of postgraduate-trained doctors (50.7% of total public doctors [36/71] vs. 13.0% in the private sector [17/131], 3.9 times higher). The Odonto-Stomatology doctor-to-population ratio reached 0.94 per 10,000 people. Spatial distribution revealed high-density concentrations in urban centers and significant gaps in newly merged rural and border areas. Conclusion: The Odonto-Stomatology workforce in Dong Thap post-merger exhibits a major geographical imbalance and a discrepancy between the private sector's scale and the concentration of postgraduate-trained doctors in the public sector. Policy interventions for workforce regulation and primary healthcare network re-planning are essential to ensure equitable access to services.
