Abstract
Suprachoroidal hemorrhage is a rare but severe complication in ophthalmic surgery [1]. We report the case of a 65-year-old male patient with a history of prior vitrectomy who presented on postoperative day 4 following phacoemulsification with sudden blurred vision and ocular pain in the left eye. Clinical examination and B-scan ultrasonography of the left eye revealed a suprachoroidal hemorrhage occurring on the fourth postoperative day after cataract surgery. The patient was initially managed with medical treatment for one week, followed by surgical drainage.
