Background: Patient experience is a key quality indicator, particularly in assisted reproduction, where treatment is prolonged and psychologically demanding. Objective: To describe patient experience and analyse associated factors among women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) at Tam Anh General Hospital. Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study of 320 women who had completed at least one IVF cycle at a single assisted reproduction centre (November 2025–March 2026). Patients were surveyed after embryo transfer and before the pregnancy test result was known, using a self-administered questionnaire adapted from the Vietnamese Hospital Quality Criteria for IVF care. Data were analysed in R with Chi-square and Fisher exact tests (p<0.05). Results: The overall positive experience rate was 91.3%; physicians 99.0%, nurses 95.6%, customer-care staff 95.3%. In bivariate analysis, four factors were associated with positive experience: education (p=0.038), number of embryo transfers (p=0.028), oocyte (p=0.001) and embryo (p=0.011) expectation fulfilment. Conclusions: Women receiving IVF at this hospital reported a high rate of positive experience. Maintaining communication, strengthening psychological support and improving expectation counselling are suggested. Findings reflect women treated at a single private centre, not all couples undergoing IVF.
