Dyslipidemia is one of the leading risk factors for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases, with an increasing prevalence globally. Although modern medicine offers many effective treatments, it still faces limitations such as side effects, high treatment costs, and the risk of drug interactions.
In this context, traditional medicine, with its abundant medicinal resources, has opened up a safe, effective, and sustainable treatment approach. “Avocado leaf preparation” is being studied as a potential candidate for treating dyslipidemia. Experimental studies show that the preparation can reduce triglycerides, lower total cholesterol, and increase HDL-C.
This article aims to synthesize the theoretical basis, experimental evidence, and potential applications of “Avocado leaf preparation” in the treatment of dyslipidemia, combining traditional and modern medicine.
