Aim: To evaluate quality of life using the Stroke Impact Scale version 3.0 (SIS v3.0) and to describe some associated factors among patients receiving post-stroke rehabilitation at Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in 2025. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 139 eligible post-stroke patients selected by convenience sampling. Quality of life was assessed using the Stroke Impact Scale version 3.0 (SIS v3.0) across eight domains. Quantitative data were presented as mean ± standard deviation or median (interquartile range), as appropriate. Data distribution was assessed using the Shapiro–Wilk test. The Mann–Whitney U test, Kruskal–Wallis test, and Spearman's rank correlation were used for appropriate analyses. Analyses of associated factors were considered exploratory because adjustments for multiple comparisons were not performed and multivariable regression models were not used to control for potential confounding factors. Results: The overall quality-of-life score, calculated in this study as the mean of the eight SIS domain scores, was 47.94 ± 10.53. The domains with the lowest mean scores were mobility (15.37 ± 18.34), hand function (21.58 ± 19.90), and activities of daily living/instrumental activities of daily living (ADL/IADL) (32.59 ± 17.36), whereas communication and social participation had the highest scores. Exploratory bivariate analyses identified several associations between quality-of-life domains and sociodemographic and clinical characteristics. These findings should be interpreted with caution because potential confounding factors and multiple comparisons were not fully controlled. Conclusion: Post-stroke patients receiving rehabilitation had marked limitations in mobility, hand function, and activities of daily living. Several associations were observed in exploratory analyses; however, these findings need to be confirmed in further studies with better control for stroke severity, potential confounding factors, and multiple comparisons.
