CORRECTION OF POSTERIOR CROSSBITE IN A MIDDLE-AGED WOMAN USING IN-HOUSE CLEAR ALIGNERS: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Background: Clear aligner therapy is increasingly popular due to its aesthetics and convenience. Case presentation: A 40-year-old female presented with protrusive maxillary incisors, anterior crowding, bilateral posterior crossbite, and a Class III dental relationship on a Class I skeletal base.

Outcome: She was treated with in-house clear aligners for 18 months, achieving satisfactory esthetic and functional outcomes.

Conclusion: In-house aligners can be an effective option for moderate malocclusions when appropriately indicated and carefully managed.
