Factors associated with patient satisfaction in Outpatient Department of Construction Hospital

Abstract

Objectives: To analyze some of the factors associated with patient satisfaction in Outpatient Department of Construction Hospital, 2021.

Methods: Descriptive analysis on 400 patients who came for medical examination and treatment in Outpatient Department of Construction Hospital, June 2021.

Results: According to 5 criteria of Decision 3869/QD-BYT, 62.5% of patients were fully satisfied with their consultation when they came for medical examination and treatment. Some of the factors associated with patient satisfaction in Outpatient Department of Construction Hospital include education levels (OR=3.52; p<0.05) and the distance between place of residence and hospital (OR=1.71; p<0.05). The associatio between patient satisfaction and patient ethnicity, place of residence, occupation, health insurance cover, age group has not been found.

Conclusions: Some of the factors associated with patient satisfaction in Outpatient Department of Construction Hospital include education levels (OR=3.52; p<0.05) and the distance between place of residence and hospital (OR=1.71; p<0.05)
