53. CLINICAL PATHOLOGY AND TRADITIONAL MEDICINE IN THE TREATMENT OF THREATENED MISCARRIAGE AT THE HANOI TRADITIONAL MEDICINE HOSPITAL

Abstract

Threatened miscarriage is a common obstetric disease with increasing frequency.

Objectives: Survey of clinical manifestations and using herbal in the treatment of threatened miscarriage at Hanoi hospital of traditional medical from 2018 to 2022. Materials and method: Escriptive study, retrospective review of all medical records of threatened miscarriage at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hanoi hospital of traditional medical from January 2018 to December 2022.

Results: Among of 108 pregnant women in the study, 48.2% had Kidney deficiency, 47.2% had Qi and Blood deficiency, and 4.6% had Blood Heat. Regarding treatment, 62% of pregnant women received a combination of traditional and modern medicine; 15 herbals were used in treatment, mainly tonics, yang tonics, qi and spleen tonics, and pregnancy-stable medicines with a usage rate of 56.7% - 100%. Conclusion: The study has identified traditional medical diseases and common herbals in the treatment of threatened miscarriage at Hanoi hospital of traditional medical, thereby contributing to improving the diagnosis and treatment of threatened miscarriage.
