EFFICIENCY OF MEDICINE USAGE TO TREAT PATIENTS WITH LUMBAR DISC HERNIATION

Abstract

Objective: Describing the usage of drugs to treat patients with lumbar disc herniation at Thong Nhat hospital. Subjects and methods: A prospective descriptive study on 72 patients diagnosed with lumbar disc herniation and treated at Thong Nhat Hospital. Results: Both regimens achieved treatment goals with very good and good results. The results of treatment with the background regimen combined with epidural injection Depo-merdrol gave better results, the improvement of clinical symptoms was more obvious than with the background regimen alone. Conclusion: The background regimen combined with epidural injection Depo-merdrol gave better treatment effect, clearly improved clinical symptoms than the background regimen alone.
