Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze factors associated with positive inpatient experiences at Ha Tinh Rehabilitation Hospital in 2023.

Method: Cross-sectional descriptive research on 238 inpatients across five hospital departments from May to December 2023. Data collected using a structured questionnaire adapted from the CAHPS toolkit. Logistic regression analysis conducted using SPSS 23.0.

Results: 79.61% of patients reported positive experiences. Significant factors related to patient experience included health insurance usage (OR = 3.66; 95%CI: 1.26-10.65), first-time inpatient treatment (OR = 2.99; 95%CI: 1.5-5.93), and health status at discharge (OR = 4.00; 95%CI: 0.96-16.60).

Conclusion: The patient experience at the Ha Tinh Rehabilitation Hospital was generally positive. Improvements should focus on first-time inpatients, uninsured patients, and those discharged in unstable health conditions.
