Objective: The study aimed to describe the health status of female workers at Grandocean Garment Company and analyze the related factors affecting their health.
Methods: Using a cross-sectional descriptive study design with analysis, the research collected data from a sample of 450 female workers between March and November 2023. Data was analyzed using SPSS software, with multivariate regression employed to identify significant health-related factors.
Results: Among the participating workers, 78.2% had good health, with 37.3% classified as health level I and 40.9% as level II. Common health issues included dental (23.3%), genitourinary (19.1%), and eye-related illnesses (17.6%). Notable factors affecting health included age, number of children, years of experience, and lighting conditions in the workplace.
Conclusion: The study highlights significant links between female workers’ health and factors such as age, number of children, work experience, and lighting conditions. These findings provide a foundation for proposing solutions to improve health for female laborers in the textile industry.
