Abstract

Objective: To describe the current status of expanded immunization management at the Hong Ngu district Medical Center, Dong Thap province in 2024-2025.

Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study; survey on the expanded immunization activities at the Hong Ngu district Medical Center, Dong Thap province, and the individuals directly bringing children for immunization.

Results: 5 out of 10 health stations lacked healthcare staff, with a total of 8 healthcare personnel missing. The overall satisfaction rate was 87.43%, with the satisfaction rate for infrastructure at 88.25%, immunization procedures at 89.34%, and immunization work satisfaction at 88.52%. The majority of individuals trusted the vaccines (78.96%), intended to return for future immunizations (79.78%), and planned to recommend the service to others (78.14%).

Conclusion: Appropriate solutions are needed to improve the effectiveness of expanded immunization management at the Hong Ngu District Medical Center, Dong Thap Province in the upcoming period.
