Objective: Evaluation of the clinical results of “Quyen ty thang increase Cinnamomum, Spina gleditsiae” in patients with cervical scapulohumeral syndrome due to cervical spondylosis.
Subject and method: Including 30 patients diagnosed with cervical scapulohumeral syndrome due to cervical spondylosis at Can Tho City Traditional Medicine Hospital. Clinical intervention research method without control group, evaluating results before and after treatment.
Results: The average age of the study was 55.73 ± 12.76, the proportion of men with the disease was higher than that of women. The VAS score decreased from 6,53 ± 0,57 to 1,73 ± 1,08. The method improved the range of cervical spine motion (p<0,001).
Conclusion: “Quyen ty thang increase Cinnamomum, Spina gleditsiae” combined with electro-acupuncture and acupressure massage shows a pleasing outcome during treatment for cervical scapulohumeral syndrome due to cervical spondylosis.
