Objective: Evaluating the effectiveness of EMR in the treatment of critically ill patients.
Subject and method: retrospective description of multi-trauma patients treated with EMR from 04/2023 to 10/2024 at the Department of Cardiology, Thong Nhat Hospital.
Results: 39 cases. Under 60 years old is 76.9%. Male is 79.5%. Traffic accident is 46.1%. EMR Access mean time (seconds): medical record 05.3 + 04.5, test 10.2 + 02.2, history 07.3 + 01.4. Rate of error in records 35.9%. Type of error is missing test name 17.9%. There are no cases of wrong type or dose of medicine. Rate of satisfaction is 84.6%. ISS > 25 is 35.9%. Results reached 76.9%, cardiovascular group 64.7%, thoracic group 72.7%.
Conclusion: Electronic medical records are one of the important areas in applying digital technology to the Vietnamese healthcare system. EMR at Thong Nhat Hospital has shown promising initial results. Integrating artificial intelligence in EMR is of interest to the government and is an inevitable trend.
