Objective: Survey the treatment compliance rate of hypertensive patients at Thanh Cong General Clinic, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City in the period of 2024 - 2025.
Method: Cross-sectional study with 300 surveys Patients with hypertension coming to Thanh Cong General Clinic, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City in the period 2024 - 2025 using the Morisky scale.
Results: average age 62.5 ± 11.1 (25 - 98). The proportion of female patients is higher than that of men. The level of medication compliance according to the Morisky scale is only 35% of patients with good compliance and 51% with average compliance. The level of lifestyle change is relatively high, accounting for 69%, the non-compliant group is 31%. Compliance with the blood pressure monitoring regimen twice a day in the morning and afternoon is relatively low, accounting for only 21.7 %. Patients who re-examined according to doctor's appointments accounted for a high rate of 78.3%.
Conclusion: The rate of poor treatment compliance is high, there is a need for solutions to increase treatment compliance to help bring blood pressure to target.
