Objective: Describe the management results of continuous training of medical staff and some influencing factors at some Dist health centers, Binh Duong Province, 2023. Methods: Cross-sectional research design, combining quantitative and qualitative, was conducted on 453 medical staff working at the Medical Center in Phu Giao Dist, Dau Tieng Dist, Bac Tan Uyen Dist, Binh Duong province from May 2023 to November 2023.
Results: The proportion of medical staff participating in 48 training periods/2 consecutive years was 69.6%, fully supported with funding when participating in continuous training was 51.2%, and the course had a certificate/certification rate of 97.4%. Reasons for medical staff to participate in continuous training: 54.7% needed to update their knowledge, 39.5% of units sent them to study, and 16.6% had to take extra classes to ensure the prescribed number of classes continuous training. Factors affecting continuous training were limited funding for continuous training, and an overloaded workload so medical staff lacked time to participate.
Conclusion: It is necessary to have a plan to allocate funds and human resources to ensure the implementation of continuous training for 48 periods/ 2 consecutive years.
