Endobronchial chondroma is a particularly rare type of tumor originating from the cartilaginous structures within the bronchial tree. These tumors are benign in nature but can pose significant challenges in diagnosis and treatment due to low incidence and diagnostic rates. We report a case of endobronchial chondroma occurring in a 58-year-old female patient. The patient underwent treatment for infection for several months but did not achieve treatment success. The lesion caused partial collapse of a lung lobe and surgical resection of the lobe was indicated. Through endoscopic intervention, we were able to resolve the obstructive mass within the patient's airway, allowing the patient to avoid lung resection surgery and preserve maximal lung function.
