Đặt vấn đề: Giun đũa chó Toxocara canis có kí chủ chính là chó phổ biến trên toàn thế giới; nó cũng thường xuyên xuất hiện ở các động vật khác được gọi là vật chủ phụ bao gồm cả con người. Mối quan hệ giữa các loài Toxocara với bệnh dị ứng đã được báo cáo nhiều gần đây.

Mục tiêu: Nghiên cứu của chúng tôi nhằm xác định tình trạng huyết thanh dương tính của kháng thể anti – T. canis, nồng độ IgE toàn phần trong huyết thanh và mối liên quan của nó ở những bệnh nhân mày đay mạn tính.

Đối tượng và phương pháp: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 420 bệnh nhân được thực hiện phương pháp ELISA để xét nghiệm ký sinh trùng T. canis và IgE toàn phần trong huyết thanh tại Trung tâm Y khoa Pasteur Đà Lạt, Lâm Đồng từ 01/02/2024 - 01/11/2024.

Kết quả: Trong số 420 bệnh nhân, có tỷ lệ nam chiếm 38,8% và nữ 61,2%, tất cả bệnh nhân đều ở tỉnh Lâm Đồng, có nồng độ IgE huyết thanh toàn phần > 40 IU/ml chiếm 83,6% và 11,4% bệnh nhân mắc đồng dị ứng. Tỷ lệ nhiễm T. canis có IgG+ chiếm 33,1%. Nồng đồ IgE huyết thanh toàn phần ở nam hơn so với nữ (236,70 IU/ml so với 193,89 IU/ml), với p <0,001. Nồng độ IgE toàn phần trong huyết thanh của bệnh nhân đồng mắc mày đay mạn tính và T. canis cao hơn có ý nghĩa thống kê so với bệnh nhân bị mày đay mạn tính đơn thuần (p < 0,005).

Kết luận: Tỷ lệ nhiễm T. canis là 33,1% và có liên quan đến nồng độ IgE toàn phần trong huyết thanh của bệnh nhân bị mày đay mạn tính.
