Mục tiêu: Tổng hợp và cập nhật dữ liệu về tỷ lệ hiện mắc và các yếu tố nguy cơ của BTM ở người trẻ trên phạm vi toàn cầu đến năm 2025


Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Bài viết là tổng quan tường thuật các nghiên cứu quốc tế giai đoạn 2015–2025 được truy xuất từ PubMed, Google Scholar và Web of Science, tập trung vào nhóm 18–39 tuổi.


Kết quả: Tỷ lệ hiện mắc BTM ở người trẻ dao động 3–6%, thấp hơn so với dân số chung (9–10%) và chủ yếu ở giai đoạn sớm (giai đoạn 1-2). Gánh nặng cao hơn tại châu Á và Mỹ Latin. Các yếu tố nguy cơ chủ yếu gồm rối loạn chuyển hóa (tăng huyết áp, đái tháo đường, béo phì), bệnh cầu thận, yếu tố di truyền, nhiễm trùng mạn, và phơi nhiễm môi trường. Ngoài ra, các yếu tố sớm trong đời sống như sinh non hoặc nhẹ cân cũng góp phần vào nguy cơ BTM sớm.


Kết luận: Tỷ lệ hiện mắc bệnh thận mạn ở người trẻ (từ 18 đến 39 tuổi) khoảng 3–6% và đa số ở giai đoạn sớm (giai đoạn 1-2). Các yếu tố nguy cơ chính là rối loạn chuyển hóa (tăng huyết áp, đái tháo đường, béo phì), bên cạnh đó là bệnh cầu thận, yếu tố di truyền, nhiễm trùng mạn và phơi nhiễm môi trường/độc chất.
